apologies to the faithful few...

i know that the countless readers are clamoring for more posts. However, as the NBA, NHL and EPL seasons draw to a close, its been difficult to find time to watch as much baseball as I would prefer. My limited experiences with the dodgers this year have been severely lackluster. I've had the displeasure of attending 1 game this season and Tiny Tim Lincecum squirted all over the beloved blue from the mound and the batter's box. One can only hope that as the summer months approach, the dodgers will get their proverbial poop-makers in gear.

With that said, I look forward with great anticipation to another year of .500 baseball and watching Carlos Santana tear the cover off the ball in Cleveland.

I think I should join your blog and play Devil's advocate to you three. Seeing as though you guys tend to shift towards the negative feelings about our boys in blue. I'll play the opposite and talk about how great they are doing, even though they may not be, I think I'll add some positives. For example, as of today after sweeping the Diamondbacks our Dodgers:
Are ranked number 5 in all of baseball for runs scored with 175 total runs.
They are ranked number 6 in RBI's for all of baseball.
They are tied for second for the best batting average and hits in all of baseball.
Breaking down to a single player, we happen to have the player with the most home runs in the National League with 11, he also has the best batting average in all of baseball with .385 and the most RBI's with 37. That's right, this guy is so awesome that tonight in the seventh inning with 2 outs and a man on second and third, the Diamondbacks chose to intentionally walk him and pitch to Manny Ramirez instead. THAT is how HOT Andre Ethier is right now. Manny ended up hitting a bases clearing double, but still, to walk Ethier because you would rather take your chances with Manny Ramirez goes to show how awesome and feared he is.
Just a little sample of something positive that could go on the blog, run it by P and OJ and let me know what you think.

HA, HA, 2 outs in the ninth against the Padres with Kemp at second and they intentionally walk Ethier to take their chances with Manny. So the team with the best ERA in baseball is even afraid of Ethier. As they should be with him going 2 for 3 tonight and one of those an RBI with 2 walks. On a plus note, Kemp was able to get a home run again. Hopefully Colleti can keep his mouth shut and stop blaming the players for the managements inability to improve the pitching staff. We have an AL hitting team, and they let our "Ace Pitcher" go and picked nobody up, hopefully the divorce can go through and we can get some arms before trading closes.
